Nikon today announced the D800, a brand new FX model designed to replace the highly regarded D700. Along with 36 megapixel resolution and seriously beefed-up video capabilities, it is indeed a lot of camera for roughly the same price as the D700 (when it was first released) – $2,999 USD.
