UV Filters: Cheap vs. Expensive - Does Quality Really Matter?


If you're like me, you always wonder whether it's really worth spending a small fortune for a high quality lens filter vs a cheap one, especially if it's just a clear UV filter used mainly for protecting your lens. While my instincts tell me that there is a big difference, my wallet tells me to go for the cheaper filters.  Here's an interesting test done by LensRentals.com that helps to shed some light onto this issue and help decide if there really is a difference :)
