Thailand Floods Damage Nikon Factory: Nikon Official Statement

Record floods in Thailand which have affected as much as a third of the country have damaged many factories including those of Nikon Corporation, who maintain a large manufacturing presence in Thailand. Currently all buildings are submerged to the first level and operations have been halted as of the 6th of October. Nikon has released the following statement describing the damage and the expected impact it will have on operations due to the heavy flooding.
